2D Class Week 15 Film 7 – The Secrete of Nimh

1. Who was the director of the film? What other movies has this director produced?

 Don Bluth. Don Bluth has also directed An American Tail, The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven, A Troll in Central Park, Anastasia, and Titan A.E.


2 Artistically, what did you like about this film?

 I enjoyed the animation overall, but my favorite segment was seeing the underground city the intelligent rats had created.

3D Class Week 15 Creating An Environment Part 03 (Sky Domes)

For this week, the next step was to add a custom sky dome.

I encountered numerous problems with my sky dome and will need to continue working on it. Specifically, the sun's position won't update and the clouds will not lightly distort as they move.

Additionally, I did an overhaul on the boulder textures and main grass texture. I also made a new dirt only texture to round things out. Lighting was also made better, but still needs improvement.
